Trifecta?




All righty, I agree, this one is relatively minor, but nevertheless, Merriam-Webster says "counter-culture" isn't a hyphenated word. I hope this continues to be the source for all your nail-biting hyphenation news.

George Carlin dies and you only think of minor copy-editing issues? This is like mourning the death of Gandhi through criticizing the assassins shooting technique.

Although, if I may add, please note how much of his material is about language and conjugation. (7 Words you can't say and the stuff about parkway/driveway etc.)

I think he'd appreciate it.

Or was Carlin a Bostonian? I know he was Irish, but if he was Bostonian, I suspect that you've bought into your New Yorker thing a little too much and you're just hating on the Massachusetts thing. Are you a hater?
