I was reading an analysis of Palin's speaking style (and I'm still confused how a woman born in Idaho and raised mostly in Alaska came away with a Minnesota accent that you don't hear in Alaska except from tourists from Minnesota). It mentioned that if you listen carefully, when she's talking foreign policy and economics, the g's are suddenly fully enunciated and as soon as she goes away from the serious topics, the g disappears.
I really like the crazy lady costume, but if you could pull out the G that seems like a spy or sneak thief, that'd be awesome.

These are good points you're making.
I read that there were a lot of immigrants from Minnesota who moved to Alaska, so that might explain that.
